New York States Medicaid Program Expands Coverage of Smoking Cessation Counseling
Recently the federal government announced that smoking cessation counseling will be covered by all Medicaid enrollees allowing for six counseling sessions during any 12 continuous months, provided on a face-to-face basis. The smoking cessation counseling will complement the use of prescription and non-prescription smoking cessation products, also covered by Medicaid.

Lombard contracts with Aurora counseling agency
Under a $25,000 contract that goes into effect June 1, Aurora-based counseling agency Association for Individual Development will accept referrals from Lombard village staff and provide the counseling necessary or point residents in the right direction to find help.
